Privacy Policy

resumecopilot is built for people who don't want their job hunt broadcast. This policy explains, in plain terms, what we collect, what we do with it, and what we never do.

The short version

• Your resume and job descriptions are not stored. We send them to our AI provider to generate your results, return those results to you, and keep no copy on our servers afterwards.
• Your content is never used to train AI — ours or anyone else's.
• We don't sell your data or share it with recruiters or advertisers.

What we collect

• Account data: your email address and a securely hashed password, so you can sign in and keep your credits. Managed by our authentication provider, Supabase.
• Credit balance and payment records: how many credits you have, and a record of completed purchases (a payment ID and amount) so we can grant credits and prevent double-charging. We never see or store your full card details.
• Resume & job description text: processed in real time to produce your results, then discarded. Not written to our database.

Who processes your data

We use a small number of trusted providers to run the service:

• Groq — runs the AI model that tailors your resume. Your resume and the job description are sent to Groq to generate results. We don't control Groq's infrastructure, so the honest statement is "we don't store it," not "it never leaves your device."
• Supabase — stores your account and credit balance.
• Razorpay — processes payments. Card details are entered on Razorpay's systems, not ours.

Cookies

We use a single essential cookie to keep you signed in. We don't use advertising or third-party tracking cookies.

Your rights

You can delete your account at any time, which removes your email, password, and credit balance. Email us and we'll action it. If you're in a jurisdiction with data-protection rights (such as the GDPR), you may request access to or deletion of your account data.
